Position Overview
As a Leasing Agent at Corridor, you will play a key role in maintaining high occupancy rates by managing leads, conducting showings, and assisting prospective tenants throughout the leasing process. This is a 100% commission-based independent contractor role with earning potential between $50,000β$135,000+ based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management
β Respond promptly to all new leads (ideally within 30 minutes)
β Maintain professional and consistent communication with prospective tenants
β Scheduling & Coordination
β Schedule and manage appointments efficiently based on prospect availability
β Keep calendars and CRM systems updated and accurate
Leasing & Client Services
β Showcase available apartments with enthusiasm and professionalism
β Assist clients through the application process, ensuring all required documentation is completed
β Provide strategic leasing advice based on property features, availability, and client needs
Market Knowledge
β Share insights on comparable listings and neighborhood trends
β Stay informed on rental market shifts and adjust strategies accordingly
Lease Administration
β Prepare leases and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner
β Ensure all lease paperwork is completed and compliant with legal standards
Professional Representation
β Represent Corridor with integrity and a client-first mindset
β Uphold high standards of professionalism and ethics in all interactions
Qualifications
β Active Minnesota Real Estate License (required)
β Strong communication and interpersonal skills
β Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
β Knowledge of the Minneapolis rental market and leasing best practices
β Organized and tech-savvy (familiar with CRMs, scheduling tools, email, etc.)
β Ability to remain composed and solution-focused under pressure
β Willingness to continuously learn and improve Compensation & Contractor Terms
β 100% commission-based (no base salary)
β Compensation varies based on performance: approximately $50,000β$135,000+ annually for full-time effort
β You must provide your own tools and resources to fulfill your duties unless otherwise agreed upon
β As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses
