Position Overview
Corridor is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Real Estate Agent - Independent Contractor to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on fast-paced communication, understands the fundamentals of sales, and is passionate about delivering top-tier service to prospective renters from an online or phone-based perspective.
You’ll be the first point of contact for inbound leads—responsible for converting interest into action by responding promptly, answering questions, nurturing relationships, and scheduling tours for our on-site leasing team.
This is a fully remote position! Amazing opportunity if you are energetic, organized, and can build relationships effortlessly. Your metrics of success (and compensation!) will lie in lead engagement, responsiveness, and rapport-building, in all things.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Response & Nurturing
● Responding to all incoming leads quickly and professionally (ideally within 30 minutes).
● Handling a high volume of phone calls, texts, and emails daily. Our goal is over a 75% inbound call completion rate, and at least 3-5 unique, personalized touchpoints per lead.
● Building rapport and trust with prospective renters through clear and consistent communication. Qualifying leads and tracking progress through our CRM or internal systems, striving for as close to 100% lease engagement as possible, throughout operational hours.
● Sharing relevant materials such as floor plans, unit photos, videos, virtual tours, and detailed property information to help facilitate leasing decisions.
Tour Scheduling & Coordination
● Scheduling property tours for leasing agents based on prospect preferences and availability.
● Managing calendars and confirming appointments to maximize agent efficiency.
● Following up with leads post-tour to gather feedback and drive conversions.
Client Communication & Sales Support
● Answering questions regarding unit availability, rental qualifications, application
submittal and pricing.
● Quoting rates accurately and providing clear next steps to prospects.
● Understanding and applying core sales principles to guide leads toward leasing decisions.
Administrative & Operational Support
● Assisting with occasional admin tasks such as CRM updates, documentation tracking, and internal reporting.
● Supporting leasing agents with follow-up communications or tenant coordination, as needed.
Qualifications
● Licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of Minnesota (Required) upon time of hire.
● Strong phone presence and written communication skills.
● Highly organized and capable of managing multiple conversations and schedules.
● Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability.
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment.
● Sales or customer service experience is highly preferred.
● Proficiency with digital communication tools and basic CRM systems.
Independent Contractor Terms
This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role. Compensation is commission-based and varies based on lead volume and conversion success. Contractors are responsible for their taxes, insurance, and equipment unless otherwise agreed. Compensation ranges between $55,000–$100,000+ for full-time responsibilities depending on performance and volume. Compensation is based on a percentage of lease revenue secured, for every lease within your portfolio. Portfolio size will range based on experience anywhere from 500-800+ units.
